ADHD drug have been found to ineffective in the long term by a recent NIH Study. These drugs have also been found to stunt growth and weight of children taking them. The FDA recently issued warning in the form of medication guides concerning heart problems and psychiatric symptoms potentially caused by these drugs.
These warnings were issued on Adderall, Concerta, Daytrana, Desoxyn, Dexedrine, Focalin, Metadate, Methylin, Ritalin and Strattera.

How much of any drug is too much?Alcohol can be used in moderation.God Jesus drank wine at a safe level.Lot, under the influence of drunkenness, had sexual relations with his very own daughters. Perhaps speed is so dangerous, even what is called a small dosage is too much of a dosage. That can be overlooked if it is the case and be disguised as moderation and safe.

No clinical test to certify a mental disorder
When people say mental disease is a myth, they do not suggest that there are no “symptoms”.Symptoms exist but ask your selfs. Are they product of the brain or product of the mind? It is so hypocritical to teach your kids to SAY NO TO (illegal) DRUGS and then force-feed them with the equivalents of COCAINE and SPEED disguised as medicine…

Worst part was having no one listen to you as a child. You know how you feel when you take the drugs and for me it was never good but you had to!

I was on many drugs in my earlier years (7-16), mostly Dexedrine and Ritalin (for ADD). Most of all even at that age I noticed some very huge side effects most notability: lack of Sleep and lack of appetite. Its hard to concentrate when you are tired =(
