yeah, i agree with most of the points on this, though with SZS and Pani Poni Dash the point for the jokes was to have text flashing by on the screen every second, so there really is no way to avoid that issue.

You quoted so many people, i now wanna make a documentary about how you wanted to show your Uber knowledge on correct subbing and Japanese terms.

Oh btw, a "professional" documentary wont do the cussing thing you did, or use the word pwn. They also probably have some people who overlook it, and point out when your not trying to prove a point but your just bashing it in, OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

Look at some professional subs, some of them are UNREADABLE and shitty, way to choose the good ones.

Having explanations are great to have, but when they take away from the anime, then they need to go. And I think the people who are saying that "There free" and "There made by fans!" are taking this way to seriously. I mean your right these animes are free, but no point in watching them if you cant understand what the heck is going on.

Also, Is the Tekkaman show (1:45-1:50) that was in this part of the documentary the original or the remake? Looks neat.

I like having translations and signs and writing, it helps you understand what is going on better.
