I think that having terms in a seperate note-file would help, but, remember; what about the people who download it or have to watch it on a video site to conserve disk space?
YOU HAVE POINTED OUT THE FLAWS! indeed it was very informative, i dont personally enjoy the notes on fansubs yet i learn alot of japanese words, culture and even understanding abit of a language through these fansubs, I think they are helpful to some extent yet damaging to the industry in some ways, I LOVE MODERN FANSUBS! and my only complaint are the notes and non-translation of very technical words, This Documentary is very Informative
Anyways while I agree fansubbers should stop trying to top one another, I do not believe most try to out do other groups. The majority of the time when they insult each other it is in good fun, but if you didnt already know that then you have no way of telling, so I do not blame you for that.
Anyway some things deserve to be untranslated, like Shoryuken, it is in the games so it is in most vocabularies.
PS: Sorry for the dumbass earlier, I was a bit drunk at the time.
