Also, what the founding fathers meant by this was that the colonials should have the same rights as British citizens, not that all humans were actually equal. I agree with legalatina regarding the care our veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan receive. Not only that failing in our system, but the millions of natural born children in our country that cannot receive the care they need due to either no health insurance or no funds to pay. To see that people who enter our country illegally receive the much needed care that our own citizens are denied is a travesty and injustice. Something is seriously wrong with our nation.
The foreign govenments that dump and encourage their underclass to immigrate here illegally are the ones that have both the moral and legal obligation to provide for their citizenry…the moral indignation and outrage should be directed to the leadership of the corrupt governments of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
