AC Milan and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ronaldinho to the Rossoneri’s club. Tomorrow the player will be in Milan for the medical and to sign the contract which will tie him to Milan until June 30th 2011.
Ronaldo de Assís Moreira (born March 21, 1980 in Porto Alegre), commonly known as Ronaldinho or Ronaldinho Gaucho[2], is a Brazilian footballer who plays for La Liga side FC Barcelona and the Brazil national team.
Ronaldinho, meaning “little Ronaldo,” is better known in Brazil by the nickname Ronaldinho Gaúcho, in order to distinguish him from Ronaldo, who was already called Ronaldinho in Brazil. Ronaldo simply went by his first name upon his move to Europe, thereby allowing Ronaldinho to drop the “Gaúcho” and remain simply as Ronaldinho.
Among his many achievements and accolades, Ronaldinho is a two-time winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year, European Footballer of the Year and FIFPro World Player of the Year awards.[3]His contract with FC Barcelona runs until 2010,[4] and he became a naturalized Spanish citizen in January 2007.[5]
Ronaldo de Assis Moreira was born in Porto Alegre, a city in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil. His mother, Miguelina, is a former salesperson who later studied to become a nurse. His father, João, was a shipyard worker and footballer for Cruzeiro, and suffered a fatal heart attack when Ronaldo was eight. After Ronaldo’s older brother, Roberto, signed with Grêmio, the family moved to a more affluent home in Porto Alegre, which was a gift from Gremio to convince Roberto to stay at the club. Roberto’s career was ultimately cut short by injury.
Ronaldo’s football skills began to blossom at an early age, and he was first given the nickname Ronaldinho because he was often the youngest and the smallest player in youth club matches.[6] He developed an interest in futsal and beach football, which later expanded to organized football, and his first brush with the media came at the age of thirteen, when he scored all 23 goals in a 23-0 victory against a local team.[7] Ronaldinho was identified as a rising star at the Egypt 1997 under-17 world championship, in which he scored two goals on penalty kicks.[8][9]
Today, Roberto acts as Ronaldinho’s manager, while his sister, Deisi, works as his press coordinator.[10][11] Ronaldinho became a father for the first time on February 25, 2005, after Brazilian dancer Janaína Nattielle Viana Mendes gave birth to their son, who was named João after Ronaldinho’s father.[12]

Advice to Ronaldinho if you go to A.C Milan, the Italian fans are racist and will not like you unless you play great. You show up out of shape and you will be subject to racist chants and gestures. Ronaldinho does not seem to have the passion anymore to be an all-time great. He won a la liga title, world cup, champions league and he thinks he is Pele. He is still immensely talented but will have to prove it to the fans again.
I think the Italin leage will come back.
ronaldinho should not leave barca:) he is best
haha yout out of your maind dude there is no dougth that fabregas and torres are great players but you cant even compare them to ronaldinho expecially because they dont play in the same position torres is a forward and fabregas is a central midfielder while dinho is more of a creative mid and dinho is way out of the league of torres and fabregas
just to put it simply you cant compare a legend to a good player
Actually €21Mil plus 4 in bonuses if certain clauses will be met which are €2mil if we win the scudetto and another €2mil if Ronnie scores more than 10 goals.
you dont know what you are talking about. Dont compare random players like Fabregas and Torres with a player that is one of the best in the history of soccer. Last season he barely played at all because of his conflict with Rijkard and Barca staff. It has NOTHING to do with his soccer skills. Together with Messi he is Barcas best player. Why even mention Kaka? He plays for Ac Milan. I was talking about Barcelona players. Top6 today is C Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Zlatan, Robinho. No doubt
manunited wth, your very wrong man, 1rst of all: ronaldinho gaucho is a LEGEND,hes 1 of the best players in the world, and dont doubt hes the best midfield right now,( excluding kaka)and,c.ronaldo isnt a midfield ( just in case, hes a WINGER, which is called a forward,,)
but ronaldinho like alot of other very talented players, (example:ronaldo) has very bad luck, ronaldinho has had drinking problems since the world cup 2006…learn soccer before talking,,,
you are clueless
ronaldinho has by no means been at the top of his game recently. Last season he was very poor and barely made the 1st team. And torres and fabregas are excellent players and are definately up there with the best, even if their style is somewhat less brash than ronaldos. Barca were poorer last season, but even when he was playing they often underperformed. You also failed to mention Kaka, messi in your list
Ronaldinho has great talent but his attitude has to change really
krima:(
agree!
manunitedkid7
hahaha are you kidding me? the only player in PL that can be compared to Ronaldinho is C Ronaldo. they are at the same level. the others you mention are far behind. lmao fabregas torres hahaha! the reason he was sitting on the bench in barca was because of his drinking problems and he got conflict with the barca staff and riijkard. ronaldinho is the best play together with messi in barca no doubt! just look how barca played without him - AWFUL! Ronaldinho is nr1 in history!!!!!
the best player is KAKA!!!
