Carry On Night, Sat 12th July, 7:30pm, BBC Two
Carry On In Rude Health celebrates the contribution the Carry On films have made to general Rudeness.
Amidst clips of the films Peter Rogers (producer of the films) reflects on the uncontrollable growth of the series; film historian Matthew Sweet talks about the relationship between Sid James and Barbara Windsor; cast stalwarts Jim Dale and Liz Fraser share their recollections; and fans Danny Baker and Clare Grogan talk of sausage rolls and that scene in Carry On Camping.
BBC Two celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first Carry On film. To mark the occasion, BBC Two will screen Carry on Camping and Carry On Matron. There will also be a chance to watch Cor Blimey!, a dramatisation of the passionate relationship between Sid James and Barbara Windsor, and Fantabulosa!, a witty drama about the life of Kenneth Williams.
