why is it that both palin and mccain dont even pay attention to the other party speaking. look at biden and obama, when the other person is speaking they give them 100% of their attention. perhaps that is why mccain and palin continue to seem tacky and uninterested in our best interest. its about winning to them, not fixing the US.

The US democratic system with campaign funding based on wallet size is a thoroughly corrupt system, and needs to change. This change however scares the legislature and the politicians of today will not happen over night
As such your right to speak and get heard in the US is based on the wallet size, your close friends wallet, the wallets of the special interest groups supported and unfortunately not how good you are - and not how suited you are to be the executive leader.
On Biden and voting independent.
2. Joe Biden is a clever old fart. Still he is very much establishment so choosing Hillary as VP candidate would make a lot more sense to me as she speaks with more credibility.
3. Voting independent has not gotten the traction or funding to make a difference - so indeed a vote for independent in the USA today is a wasted vote. For congress - more power to ya. But for president - worthless.

So first and foremost - I will not be able to vote in these election because I am not an citizen. Still I follow US politics a lot, given I work for a US company.
1. Sarah Palin sells here VP readiness by using darn, heck, Joe Six pack and hockey moms language. She is trying to do a “look how cute I am” - vote for me. She is however not qualified based on her grip on reality and does not respond to the issues raised by the opponent.
